Win a 3-day South Walton Florida Beach Getaway

Disclosure: This Florida vacation giveaway is provided by the Walton County Tourist Development Council and the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa. No compensation was received.

I grew up in Florida, and now that we live all the way across the country in Seattle, we visit quite often. The state has some truly beautiful beaches, golf courses, water sports and other fun attractions that make it a wonderful destination for families.

When most people think of vacationing in Florida, I’m willing to bet places like Disney or Miami Beach come to mind. But as a native, I can honestly say you’d be missing out if that’s all you did with the family.  Florida is a large state and it has so much more to offer travelers.

One beautiful area is South Walton.

Santa Rosa Beach - Cover Visitor Guide 2012

From Walton County TDC:

Located along a 26-mile stretch of the Northwest Florida coast, South Walton encompasses an unparalleled strand of 16 distinct beach neighborhoods, each with its own traditions, charm and visual style — including Sandestin, Seascape, Miramar Beach, Dune Allen, Gulf Place, Santa Rosa Beach, Blue Mountain, Grayton Beach, WaterColor, Seaside, Seagrove, WaterSound, Seacrest, Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach and Inlet Beach.

South Walton is renowned for natural scenic beauty, turquoise waters and sugar sand beaches, including one of Travel + Leisure’s “Best Beaches on Earth” for families in 2013. An upscale yet casual place to unwind, South Walton is the place to rejuvenate and build lasting memories.

Those white sugar sand beaches are absolutely amazing. Trust me. After leaving Florida and moving to the rocky grey beaches of the Pacific Northwest, I really miss them and would love to take a little trip.

How about you?

I’m thrilled to be giving away a trip to South Walton Florida courtesy of Visit South Walton and the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa. The travel package with a retail value of up to $1,400 includes:

3-day, 2-night stay at Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa
(Resort stay value up to $850)
PLUS reimbursed mileage up to $550
OR one standard domestic airfare up to $550

Please note:  All taxes and fees on prizes won are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Expires 1 year from selection. Blackout dates apply.

The Hilton Sandestin is definitely a get-away-from-it-all resort. They actually just had some big renovations done this Spring so the property is even more updated and beautiful. Check it out.
