Earth Day is tomorrow. So its good to know that my procrastinating, depressive & anxious mama self can also do things that are good for the environment. Here’s a quick list. Do you have any?
1. I procrastinate on laundry, do it less often, and load more into each wash in our energy/water efficient machines. Saves on energy & water consumption.
2. I hate grocery shopping with two little ones in tow, so I order my groceries from Amazon Fresh. They use reusable grocery totes instead of plastic bags. Less plastic use.
3. I procrastinate on running the dish washer letting plates pile up in the sink. Saves on energy & water consumption.
4. We don’t get out of the house as much as I’d like during the week. Less gasoline/fuel consumption.
Seriously, If you’d like real tips on saving our planet, please check out today’s guest post from Edenfeed.com. Better yet, check out their site for a ton of fantastic tips for more eco-friendly, wallet-friendly, and family-friendly living. Thanks so much for sharing with us.
Happy Earth Day!

I am SO taking the “Saving the Earth” route next time my husband complains that things aren’t done around here!
Great post!

Thanks Meg.
LOL! Now I don’t feel so bad about #1, 3, and sometimes 4. Good to know I’m saving the planet in my own little way.
Stay in your jammies all day.
Less Laundry = less water consumption!

Oh yes, pj days certainly reduce laundry around here too. Thanks Kerri. Glad to help Ria! There’s no need to feel bad, it’s all for the good of our planet.
Ha! I guess my illness saves the planet too. I haven’t done any house cleaning in 2 weeks.
